The registered manager of Norbury Hall is Vijay Dhir, who has over 20 years experience in the social care sector. He has held the position of vice chairman of the Care Homes Association and has used his vast experience and knowledge as a consultant to others.
Uma Dhir is the deputy manager. She joined the management team after graduating from Sheffield University with a BA Honours in Business Management. She has also achieved her Registered Manager's Award and injects vibrancy and innovation into the organisation.
Norbury Hall is proud of its staff and the staff are proud of Norbury Hall. Our team of highly trained and dedicated staff consists of nurses, care assistants, a gardener/handy-man and an activities co-ordinator.
Our an internationally trained five star chef provides varied daily meals that are nutritionally balanced and freshly prepared. Residents can enjoy sociable mealtimes in our dining rooms, or take any meal in the peace of their own room, if they prefer. We make sure that on their birthdays, each resident receives a celebratory meal and a personalised, cake to make their day extra special.
We aim to fully understand new residents’ nutritional needs, tastes, special diets and preferences shortly after their arrival with us, and take care to ensure that such needs are being met.
